The Bridge Hotel

Scotting's Bridge

The pub in the right foreground of the postcard may well be The Bridge Hotel, which was owned and run by Edward Scotting (1759-1816). He left the hotel, named the Bridge Public House, in his will of 1816 to his son John Scotting (1789-1867). In 1832 he sold the premises to George Hall.
