World War II 1939-1945

Considering it was such a large and global conflict the Scotting family only lost two members as casualties (recorded) in World War Two. We currently (2020) don’t have a record of civilian casualties.

The two deaths we know about are-

Mervyn Russell Scotting 1915-1942, Gunner, Royal Australian Artillery, El Alamein Memorial.

James Thomas Scotting, 1920 -1942, Gunner, Royal Artillery, Alamein Memorial.

We also know that a T.A. Scotting was a prisoner of war.
